Flyash

Flyash is a fine, glass-like powder recovered from gases created by coal-fired electric power generation. The combustion of pulverised coal at high temperatures and pressures in power stations produces different types of ash. The 'fine' ash fraction is carried upwards with the flue gases and captured before reaching the atmosphere by highly efficient electrostatic precipitators. This material is known as Pulverised Fuel Ash (PFA) or 'fly ash'. It is composed mainly of extremely fine, glassy spheres and looks similar to cement.

Flyash is produced by careful selection, beneficiation / classification and processing of coal based thermal power station at our ISO 9001:2008 certified modern fly ash processing unit. The quality is ensured classified fly ash - subject to strict quality control system right from the raw material stage to finished product. It complies to BS 3892 part 1/ASTM C 618 Class F.
